Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using KeyboardIQ ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use KeyboardIQ on Mac computers you own or control. See the EULA below for the full license terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App to generate content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights
- Resell or sublicense the App to others
- Use the App in any way that violates Anthropic's usage policies (when using cloud mode)
4. Third-party services
Cloud mode uses the Anthropic API. You are responsible for your Anthropic API key and any usage costs associated with it. KeyboardIQ does not resell or proxy Anthropic services.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce accurate results in all cases. AI-generated suggestions may contain errors.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of profits.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be highlighted in the App's update notes.
End User License Agreement (EULA)
Grant of license
Upon purchase of a KeyboardIQ license (Annual or Lifetime), we grant you a single-user, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use KeyboardIQ on up to five (5) Mac computers that you personally own or control.
Trial license
A trial license grants all features of the App for fourteen (14) calendar days from activation. After the trial period expires, the App enters a read-only mode until you purchase a license.
Annual license
An Annual license is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. At renewal time, you may purchase a new Annual license at the then-current price to continue receiving updates.
Lifetime license
A Lifetime license grants perpetual use of the version of the App available at time of purchase, plus all future major and minor version updates released by us. We reserve the right to discontinue the App, but any purchased Lifetime license remains valid for the last released version indefinitely.
Education discount
An education-discounted license is for the personal use of the qualifying student or faculty member only and may not be transferred.
Restrictions
- You may not distribute copies of the App to others.
- You may not sell, sublicense, or rent the App.
- You may not modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works from the App.
- You may not use the App on more than five devices per license.
Ownership
The App and all intellectual property rights in it belong to the developer. Your license is a right to use the App, not an ownership right.
Termination
This license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the App from your devices.
Refund Policy
30-day refund guarantee
If you purchased a license and are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase at support@keyboardiq.com for a full refund. No questions asked.
Trial period
We offer a 14-day free trial specifically so you can evaluate the App before spending anything. We encourage you to use the full trial period before purchasing.
